Nature the gentlest mother is Impatient of no child The feeblest of the waywardest Her admonition mild In forest and the hill By traveller be heard Restraining rampant squirrel Or too impetuous bird How fair her conversation A summer afternoon Her household her assembly And when the sun goes down Her voice among the aisles Incite the timid prayer Of the minutest cricket The most unworthy flower When all the children sleep She turns as long away As will suffice to light her lamps Then bending from the sky With infinite affection An infiniter care Her golden finger on her lip Wills silence everywhere Poem by Emily Dickinson Music by Crane Copyright 2023 Nature, The Gentlest Mother Is played Dec. 15th 2023 on “The Watt from Pedro Show” (2nd Hour, 2nd to last song) https://www.twfps.com “One of the best Rock Podcasts on the internet.” ~ Rolling Stone Magazine

This is the land the sunset washes, These are the banks of the Yellow Sea; Where it rose, or whither it rushes, These are the western mystery! Night after night her purple traffic Strews the landing with opal bales; Merchantmen poise upon horizons, Dip, and vanish with fairy sails. These Fevered Days - to take them to the Forest Where Waters cool around the mosses crawl - And shade is all that devastates the stillness Seems it sometimes this would be all - Poem by Emily Dickinson Music by Crane Copyright 2023 Recorded in the frequency of Nature 432 hz. I think of love and you And my heart grows full and warm And my breath stands still… I can feel a sunshine stealing into my soul And making it all summer and every thorn a rose… Poem by Emily Dickinson Music by Crane Copyright 2023 Recorded in the frequency of Nature 432 hz. On my volcano grows the Grass A meditative spot An acre for a Bird to choose Would be the General thought How red the Fire rocks below How insecure the sod Did I disclose? Would populate with awe my solitude Poem by Emily Dickinson Music by Crane Copyright 2023 Recorded in the frequency of Nature 432 hz. My Garden 00:43
New fingers stir the sod— A Troubadour upon the Elm Betrays the solitude. New children play upon the green— New Weary sleep below— And still the pensive Spring returns— And still the punctual snow! Oh Shadow on the Grass! Art thou a Step or not? Go make thee fair my Candidate My nominated Heart Oh Shadow on the Grass! While I delay to guess Some other thou wilt consecrate Oh Unelected Face Poem by Emily Dickinson Music by Crane Copyright 2023 Recorded in the frequency of Nature 432 hz. from the album “Return To Nature” https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLo2F2XPpJgsF0FMp7rgiU6axXqN0X5wHY My interpretation of Emily’s poem A suitor is on Emily’s front lawn trying to convince her to marry him. She soon becomes bored of the suitor and begins to daydream as she stares at his “Shadow on the Grass.” She then in her mind conducts an interview with the suitor’s shadow in the hope that maybe the suitor’s shadow as his “Shadow Self” can prove to her his worthiness of marriage.
