Our Dreams
02:44
|
|
||
There must be a reason to why we came here
With so much confusion it’s not always clear
And I know it seems like all the good times are gone
But we’re going to bring them back where they belong
For we’re going to live in peace with each other
In a world where everyone loves one another
And when all the roadblocks finally fall away
We’ll be living the dream we imagined some day
And there’s a mystery in the forest beckoning us
Will we have the courage to go
I hear the calling of the nature spirits saying
We must rebuild what was long ago
When it comes to our dreams…
Let them inspire us so we can make them all come true
For Dreamtime is all around us
Especially when we play
So don’t forget our dreams
For they are real and are meant to be
So don’t forget our dreams
Because they mean so much to you and me

Where We Belong
03:02
|
|
||
It’s been too long… that we’ve been living in the city
It feels so wrong… being far from the country
Remember those days… sharing feelings so real?
Out in nature we’d play… where our souls would heal
Let’s return to being happy again
When we act natural we don’t have to pretend
Life makes sense whenever we follow our hearts
It’s time for us to make a brand new start
Let’s take a road trip and leave this world far behind
There’s so much beauty out there that we can find
We’ll kick off our shoes and run through
The grass singing our love songs
Then we’ll find ourselves back home… Where We Belong

Wake Up The Neighbors!
02:45
|
|
||
We're going to Wake Up The Neighbors
Invite them over tonight
We're going to Wake Up The Neighbors
And tell them they're alright
We're going to Wake Up The Neighbors
And tell them we don't need that wall between us
What good are the neighbors
If they're not there when you need them?
Sometimes you know I think they don't care
But I'm not going to give up on them until we're friends
The other day I saw the neighbors watering their front lawn
I yelled out, "Hey! What's Up?"
And "What's been going on?"
They looked at me then they just walked away
We're going to Wake Up The Neighbors
Invite them over tonight
We're going to Wake Up The Neighbors
And tell them they're alright
We're going to Wake Up The Neighbors
And tell them we don't need that wall between us
It's getting harder and harder to make good friends today
If you come on over we'll find some records to play
We can make total fools of ourselves...
Until the morning comes
The next day I couldn't believe it
The neighbors called up to say "Hello!"
We don’t want you mad at us
Because we like to stay at home
Well, that's okay... but let's keep in touch
We're going to Wake Up The Neighbors
Invite them over tonight
We're going to Wake Up The Neighbors
And tell them they're alright
We're going to Wake Up The Neighbors
And tell them we don't need that wall between us

The Lake
01:41
|
|||
Pastoral haze evocative water
The grass is set into a mobile sonata
Conducting a semblance in the cool breeze
The conductor instructs ultramarine cast shadows
In the sky and the water
We hear sonic whispers from the lake
A subtle calling a chant just for us
That we are lucky to experience as
We see… feel and live
The Lake is a crucible a clasping of earth’s hands
The water of life is there and understands
We must see this to know what is important and real
The Lake is here right in front of us
To help us reflect and heal

Maple Falls
02:13
|
|||
We walk down a split rail fence
Past the gentle chorus of water from a spring
Surrounded by hills that hug you close
Past weathered trunks lit by the pale of the light
Comforted by sheltering clouds
From above the patter of hail
A squalling message…. whispered from above
And love…. with solitude and quietness
The fall is here and this is where we live…. in
Maple Falls
As leaves drift and dance…in
Maple Falls
From arms stretched above…in
Maple Falls
Holding us in a kind of slumber…in
Maple Falls
As we enter our cabin caste in umber…in
Maple Falls

The River of Life
03:01
|
|
||
Swimming in the river of life
Got to stay above the waterline
With so much division and strife
It’s hard to find a piece of mind
If you want to make the world a little better
Then align yourself with the light
If we just love one another
Then everything will be alright
Have we forgotten our humanity?
It’s our commonality that will create peace and harmony
The River of Life keeps our love a flowing
Embrace the goodness in each of other that’s waiting to be found
The River of Life is understanding by knowing
Making friends wherever we go heading homeward bound

The Banks of the River
01:36
|
|
||
Along the banks of a river
the cottonwoods grow in profusion,
greedily soaking in the flow.
Along the banks of a river.
They whisper amongst themselves,
their leaves shimmering in the gentle wind,
their heads nodding and bowing to each other,
courtiers of the bright morning.
The deer meander grazing.
The dark blue, the never ending,
the stars wheeling slowly.
Along the banks of a river…
The tree a true giant,
it's stature windblown and rugged.
The dark plain grasses whitely dip and sway,
the shadow of the wind ripples outward in all directions.
Writ clearly: the endless formulation of dancing cloud.

Naked
03:26
|
|
||
Walk through a wet forest
Swampland back rippling in stride
The same snakes laid down
Gone to ground
Into the roots of forest thickness where that cabin stays
On the edge of a meadow my home the sky
Unafraid of fire we fly up the chimney…
To the vast above
Called upon by grace
To hang me naked on the wall
Then wrap up in the stars to grow my wings
From a cloud that covers the moon

In Silence
02:08
|
|
||
Standing at a window in the nights uncounted
A baby on your shoulder rocking
All those listening faces all the words written for later
Centuries of hours of quiet
How sleeping the pictures flow
How removed from decisions there
How another world could be known in sound or symbol…
In Silence
A face lifting unseen for the sun's kiss
A memory everyone but you is blind to
And the sound of waves
Hours upon hours unknown
Invisible hearts only watching
Some quiet street and the leaves dancing
How sleeping the pictures flow
How removed from decisions there
How another world could be known in sound or symbol…

We Can Be Real
01:17
|
|
||
At the end of our rope there seems to be no hope
But look up and you will see a rainbow for you and me
When the chips are down the heroes will be found
For we are the ones that we’ve been waiting for
A sleeping giant has awakened
As the people rise again
We’re not gonna be robots
In a nightmare that never ends
As we return to Mother Nature
Our broken hearts will naturally heal
No longer will the artificial rule
And once again we can be real

Reminiscing
02:21
|
|
||
Taken by surprise
We never thought it would end
What a wonderful ride
We were good friends
Reminiscing walking hand and hand
Reminiscing riding our bikes on the strand
Reminiscing holding each other tight
Through the night
Those were the days
We enjoyed simple things
Our care free ways
You made my heart sing
Reminiscing united in love we care
Reminiscing feeling compassion we share
Reminiscing guided by truth we’ll get there
Reminiscing...

Only Love
01:41
|
|
||
Born of Memory forever steps lightly
Playing songs by hint of Shadow
The shift of Winds the painted horizon
Worlds of sweet inclinations
Some comforting certainty paces
Cages without bars
Creatures drawn by Star mapping
Tell of fortunes unlimited
Ghost mistily appear upon the view
Blue rain is beading now
Into a million Reflections upon the lenses
Only Love Holding the candle in this Snow
Then Stars can take hold their glittering
On the deep frozen expanse
Upon the worlds above as well
All endless cycling fire
Days chasing days on a bed of sky
Only Love…

With Intimacy
01:54
|
|
||
Where were you my friend?
Lost in a mist… you didn’t intend
We met upon a flying carpet…
On a breath of wind… that never ends
Hands held clasped in surrender
On this trapeze sighs the wind
A chance meeting a pleasant surprise
And there you were…. before my eyes
Now we share our time once again in such a casual way
We breath… we laugh… and we talk together…
With so much to say
So take my hand and walk with me
As our hearts touch each other…with intimacy

Reunion
02:01
|
|
||
I walked… into see… who was who
Selected faces… of whom, I thought I knew
It became a blur… a vast expanse of faded memories…
And you know that...
Life and all that transgresses the past
With the immediate we coalesce over time
Intermittent and sublime with heartfelt memories
And visits remind me again of what I have forgotten
Only to find this reunion of heart and mind
Makes us realize…. that the past… is hard to find
Over the expanse of time

This Is Not Our Home
01:58
|
|
||
Remembering singing songs
In a world where people got along
A distant dream we’ll always feel
And by giving love we’ll make it real
This is not our home we’ve come from far away
Nice place to visit but we can’t stay
Greener pastures await for you and me
And eventually that’s where we’ll gonna be
This is not our home but that’s okay
As long as we’re together living for today
This is not our home but let’s make it right
Until we find ourselves in a world full of love and light
Sometimes we wonder why we came here
A lively discussion over some beers
We can learn our lessons along with having fun
While making the world a better place for everyone
This is not our home but that’s okay
As long as we’re together living for today
This is not our home but let’s make it right
Until we find ourselves in a world full of love and light

The Dreams of Yesterday
01:24
|
|
||
The Dreams of Yesterday… slowly drift away but we mustn’t let them go
Forever in our hearts… they are apart of a greater love we know
The challenges we face have been there all along
Now is the time for us to finally fix what’s wrong
The Dreams of Yesterday will return once again so keep the faith my friend
The Dreams of Yesterday need to come to be for they are our destiny…

Scientific Proof
01:29
|
|
||
Way out in left field where energy and matter can’t be destroyed
Where clocks can’t watch what’s rearranged as we transform
Flexible to experiment with endless possibilities
Building on what is found erasing the boundaries
If it could be pinpointed as such would it be different than
The courage to come face to face with oncoming trains?
Expectations for something worthwhile
Investing in that what seems to make sense
Nothing ever happens when we try too hard
We don’t need your evidence

Eve
02:00
|
|
||
The air is crisp as the sun falls
Here comes the edge of sight and it’s dark walls
Sunset creeps towards the night
And the darkness can now remain
The stars are bright as ink that bleeds a stain
The light is but a ghost on this winter’s day
The wonder of sleep and promises we keep
While away before dawn a new beginning
When nights lid begins to slide open
Once more with a hopeful surprise
It’s quiet and close as the nights curtain falls
The eve sings to the stars a most welcoming song
A voice of peace and a sense of belonging
As the edge of night bows to Eve

Oh The Stars
02:40
|
|
||
Oh the stars
And arms of ocean
The hillside of shoulder
The jaw of ridge
The mouth of river it's silver strands of flow
Oh the stars
The wave of curling waist
The fire in the center
Deep flames breathing the red
Ridge of tree burning
Thoughts chasing clouds
The flow of wind whisper
But oh the stars
Cloud masking the eye of the moon
Shadows casting on the cheek of the earth
The moss underfoot
The changing of the distance from warmth
The season of life
But oh the stars…
